Roe wanted to strangle Sobel. First he picked on poor Babe and then give them more Currahee running. He only hoped Sink would realize soon Sobel was incompetent.

Joe wanted to sock Sobel right in his smug little mouth. More Currahee? They had already run six miles collectively this morning! It took all of his self control, but Joe remained in his spot, though his expression was lethal.

Roe turned to see Toye's deadly look. He could only hope Sobel would meet Toye in a dark alley one night so Toye could take care of him and make it look like an accident or something. Roe normally couldn't stand killing but Sobel was an exception.

Joe watched Sobel walk out, his eyes never leaving the man's back. If only Joe had laser vision....

Roe let out a sigh of relief and said, "That was close! It could have been worse."

Joe turned to look at Roe, before running a hand through his dark hair. " I'd say an extra mile on that fuckin' hill is pretty bad." Joe said. He didn't mean to snap a Roe, but when he gets riled up, it takes a while for him to simmer down. And it wasn't Currahee he had a problem with, or not so much as it was that Sobel took full advantage of his position, and pretty much tortured the men.

Roe looked at Toye, sighed and said, "Well for one thing.... Sobel leading us into combat is something a lot worse."

A smile replaced the grimace on Toye's face, and it broadened as he looked at Roe. " He won't make it very far if he does." he said, though he wasn't just referring to himself. Any Easy man, except for maybe Roe, would love to accidentally shoot a round into Sobel.

"Don't worry about it? Sink will figure it out soon enough. Hopefully...."

Babe felt bad because Sobel wanted them run Curahee once again. He looked around at the others guys

Babe nodded. "If you say so." He said in a quiet voice, feeling a little less guilty.

Toye thundered out of the barrack, his expression still one of distaste. He just wanted to get it over with, as Roe said. But he had to wait for the rest of the guys, who were still milling around the barracks.
