Sobel intimidated all the men, there was no doubt there. Luz watched, a little far away as Sobel stopped to look at Guarnere. Everyone was nervous for him to speak. Is he gonna be a bitch about this? Because Luz thought they were doing just fine. Tension rose as Sobel opened his mouth.

Bill waited for Sobel to reprimand him, but to his amazement, he closed his mouth, and moved on to Bull, Bill breathing a quick sigh of relief. But all was not well in the barracks, and he knew it.

Luz almost smirked as Sobel moved on from his friend Guarnere. He felt the uneasy tension too as Sobel moved among the men. He hoped that Sobel didn't catch his smile, as he knew he'd be chewed out for it. Sobel's steps grew slower and slower, and his face remained angry, as always.

Toye stood at attention, Sobel's movements evading his eyes now and then, as he was supposed to stare straight forward. But once he heard the footsteps stop, he knew the inspection was over. Now was the lecturing.

Sobel looked very displeased that he couldn't find his usual minute details of their mistakes. However Dick felt a warmth spread in his chest- pride. He could barely manage to keep the grin on his face. "Outside!" Sobel barked at them then stormed out to the next barrack. As soon as he was gone, Dick didn't see any sense in keeping his pride from the boys. "Fantastic, men." He smiled at them, then led them out. Sobel continued along the barracks until everyone was outside.

Carwood could hardly believe that Sobel found nothing! He saw the pride in Winters` expression as Sobel walked out. Carwood felt proud too. He jogged outside with everyone as instructed, and a smile was on his face.

Luz was greatly suprised when Sobel walked out without chewing them out. Winters seemed pretty happy, but how could he not be? Easy Co. walked out of the barracks and Luz high fived every one of the men he passed.

Bill high fived Luz, a grin on his face as well, as he filed outside with the others. But a frown soon replaced it as he wondered what was in store for the men next. Casting a wary eye to Lip, Bill fell into formation.

Joe stood next to Guarnere, standing a little out of formation, before Sobel came out. Once the man came out, Toye was in his correct spot and standing before you could snap your fingers.

Roe watched as Sobel walked past the men rolling his eyes at him. Sobel had a special dislike for him ever since he'd been picked as a medic along with Spina. Roe's feelings were 100% mutual. Roe was determined to see that himself would prove Sobel wrong and that he deserved to be a paratrooper just as any other man from Easy Company did.

As Sobel opened his mouth, Joe's mind instantly switched to 'ignore-annoying-Sobel' mode, though his expression gave the impression he was paying strict attention. Yes, he wanted to be a paratrooper, and yes, sometimes Sobel's rants had information the soldiers actually needed, but Joe had a feeling this was just a bunch of BS.

[/i] how damn cheerful you could be) but he found his restlessness was not held at bay long. Every time Sobel's back was to him, he took the chance to shift, relieving joints and pressure. If he were anything of a stupid man, he'd reach over and smack at Malarkey's chest to get his attention, then Penk's, and proceed to goof with some facial expression that pretty much summarized Sobel up. Like buck teeth and cross eyes and maybe a sound of 'durrrrr' to go with it. Yeaaaaaah, that was Sobel. But he wasn't stupid, he just did stupid shit (which was the nature of his breed) and he wouldn't dare do anything of that sort anyway. He stopped his mind from wandering off, and attempted to listen to the bullshit Sobel was spilling. Same old stuff, different story, blah blah blah. Maybe someone just pissed in his cereal. So, feet together, eyes forward, attentive it was for now. He glanced at Malarkey (who seemed closest) and avoided sighing as it might drag their Captain over. But it didn't stop him from a facial flicker of annoyance.[/ul]

Don couldn't help but smirk as he looked to his friend, who's antics always managed to amuse him, even during Sobel's speeches. He rolled his eyes, before maintaining his stare straight ahead, just like the rest of the soldiers.

Roe had to suppress his own laughter at Skip's antics. Skip same as Luz always seemed to live high on life and turn most Sobel situations into something humorous.

Babe filled in with the rest of the guys, hoping Sobel wouldn't pick on him. All he could think about these days, was just to believe he had what it took to be a paratrooper. He then saw Sobel nearing him, and he thought 'shit please don't say anything to me.
