Roe noticed Sobel heading towards Heffron. He only hoped the kid wouldn't get yelled at.

Joe sent Babe a warning look, as though warning him not to say anything stupid. Babe was young, and the young ones usually get yelled at the most...well, other than Winters, who took most of the flack for the men from Sobel.
OoC:; I didn't think Babe was a Toccoa man....I thought he was a replacement?

(I noticed that too...he is but I guess we've decided to just let it go) Roe saw Sobel stop right by Babe. He held his breath hoping Babe didn't say anything stupid if confronted.

OoC:; okie dokie then. Just making sure I had it right lol.
As Sobel opened his mouth, Joe took a deep breath. He hadn't known Babe for long, and he wasn't sure if he had been reprimanded by Sobel before....he usually didn't pay attention unless Sobel was bitching at him.
(I guess I'll be Sobel for now for the sake of continuing) " Private Heffron, what are you smiling at?" Sobel demanded.

OoC:; I agree...though he was a complete douche.
(Sobel) When Babe didn't answer, Sobels dark brows furrowed. " I said, Private Heffron, what are you smiling at?"
Joe looked around while Sobel was distracted, and realized many other soldiers were doing the same. He caught the eye of Roe, and gave him a "great, just great", miserably bored look

Roe returned the look with a slight shrug of his shoulders. Babe was young and didn't deserve the treatment he was getting. Roe just hung his head down in silence.

[/i], just so the kid didn't get chewed out or something, but there wasn't anything he could. Instead, he frowned, and pursed his lips, trying not to narrow his eyes. Maybe luck would be on Babe's side.[/ul]

Tab looked around, his eyes landing on a few soldiers, and exchanged bored looks. The new guys always got barked at, it was Sobel's favorite hobby.

Bill returned Tab's bored look, but grinned right after. The boys in Easy could find a joke in just about everything, especially Sobel, who was like a walking punchline.

"Nothing Sir." Babe didnt even realize he was smiling but tried his best to not say anything stupid, considering he was younger then some of the other men

(Sobel) Sobel didn't quite believe that. " It doesn't seem like nothing. Did you see something funny? Sobel asked, almost dangerously, as he looked to the young red head.
Joe's gaze hardened when he heard the tone change in Sobel's voice. He was getting annoyed, and an annoyed Sobel was almost worse than regular Sobel.

"I saw nothing funny Sir." Babe really felt like Sobel just wanted to see him break, but he was not going to let that happen. He knew the annoyed side of Sobel meant twice as much punishment.

Roe started to get worried. If Sobel continued like this they would all be getting something in return.

(Sobel) Sobel stared Babe down, his dark eyes narrowed as he did so. But since he really had nothing to bust Heffron on, and he was sure most of the other men knew it, he gave Babe one last look, before turning to Winters. "An extra hour of PT, and an extra mile up Currahee." he ordered.
