Babe laughed at the daring move that skip just pulled by throwing the snowball. He heard Joes voice and could only imagine his grinning face. He was happy that they were still joking around and having a bit of fun doing it.

Malarkey couldn't help but laugh at Joe's words. " Calm down, Joe, it's just snow. It's not like you're gonna melt." Malarkey smirked, poking his head over the edge of the foxhole as well, following Joe's narrowed, yet teasing, gaze towards Skip.

With that, he vaulted another wad of snow (not really a snowball as it was made with haste) toward them, a wink ensuing his craftiness. "Or hit back twice."[/ul]

Don opened his mouth to speak, but just as he did, snow hit him straight in the face, and in his mouth. Spitting it out onto the ground, Malarkey gave a dangerous, yet playful look. " Oh, it's on now!" he called, and bent down, gathering as much freezing snow in his hands as he could, trying to shape it into something like a ball. It was more of a blob, but it didn't stop Malarkey from lobbing it into the air.

It was a quiet declaration, not enough to elicit alarm among them, and he ducked, grinning, to avoid the snow. "We're under the attack of snowballs, mah good mate." His accent was a fake Irish, and he beamed as he collected more snow. "Don't show any fear!" He laughed, and let loose the canon of his attack. "You won't win!" He hollared over in Joe and Malarkey's direction.[/ul]

"Us against you? We'll win by default! Besides, you're alone...didn't you know Babe's our spy?" Malarkey shouted, and he began to pile up little balls, or again, blobs, of snow, building his inventory.

His lap was wet from where the snow had fallen on impact, and it was rather uncomfortable. His attention was solely competitive on Malarkey, and whether he heard anyone or not was difficult to say. He clapped a hand down on Babe's shoulder, wobbling him gently. "Cease fire and surrender or you'll never get your man back!" He felt so childish, and it was much welcomed. Just a small break from this war.[/ul]

Don looked to Toye. "Can we spare a man?" he asked, though loud enough for Skip to hear. He too felt childish, but it was something to get his mind off the stress, not to mention the moving around kept his blood pumping, and warmed him up slightly.

Babe was amused by their little game, it kept his mind off everything and it was a nice feeling. Babe looked over at skip. "I guess I make one good hostage." He joked, he wanted to move his body but he was so cold he didnt think he had the energy at the moment.

Joe shook his head. "Go get him." Joe said, partly because he was freezing his ass off and didn't want to move a muscle, and also because he felt this was getting a little too....immature for him. But it was amusing to watch Skip and Malarkey go at it.

Babe could hear Joe's voice, and he was in the same boat as him. He was he just the on looker to the situation. Babe felt the need to get out of the foxhole but couldnt find the energy.

Joe continued to shudder, his arms wrapped around himself so hard he thought he might end up squeezing himself to death, before he had enough of just sitting around, freezing his ass off. As Malarkey threw snowballs over the edge of the foxhole, Joe struggled to untangle himself and make his way, be it somewhat slowly and unsteadily, out of the foxhole.

Babe had to get up and he did and noticed Joe was doing the same thing. He let out a small cough, hoping it wouldnt get worse. "Hey Joe."

Joe heard the cough before the voice, and turned to see Babe standing a few feet away. " Hey, Babe. That cough's soundin' worse." he said, looking at the red head, whose nose seemed to match the color of his hair, it was that cold.
