Roe walked over to sit with Toye and Babe. He wasn't used to the socializing but he thought that he should atleast get to know who he'd potenially save on the battlefield. He listened to the good natured banter of the two Pennsylvania boys. Roe took a sip of his drink and about gasped. He wasn't used to alcohol but he hid it from the other two. When both men decided to leave the bar he decided he'd follow along.

Don walked over to Skip, after a rousing round of darts, and plopped himself down beside him, a knowing look across his face. " Did someone have a little too much to drink?" he asked with a smile, looking at his obviously intoxicated friend.

Up went his hand to order a beer, but he couldn't remember if this was that type of bar or not. His question was answered as a woman brought them over, one for himself and Malark. He gave her a dorky grin and a half salute, before tugging on Malarkey again. "Hey, hey, watch this with me. I bet Mr. Great Hair over there that he couldn't pick up a girl. Or something. I don't remember."He'd gotten into quite a lot of glasses of alcohol.[/ul]

Malarkey couldn't help but laugh, and as he nodded at the waitress for bringing their drinks, which he doubted Skip needed, he turned to watch Tab, who was apparently on the winning end of the bet. " You don't remember? Whoa, Skip, you better slow down before you father some children over here!" Malarkey knew Skip was faithful to Faye, but as hammered as he was, he would probably black out soon..and who knows?

He used his finger to stir his beer, for lack of any reason. "Did I ever tell you about the time I swam across the Niagra?" It was his best story, but he never had that fair a memory of whom he told it to. Especially like this.[/ul]

Babe saw the dart board and grinned. He loved playing darts. He got the darts and then started shooting them at the board. He hoped one of the guys would join him.

Roe had never played darts in his life. He walked over with Toye and Babe and asked, "What is the point to this game?"

"Just try to throw the darts closest to the middle, but I usually miss but its fun either way." Babe handed Roe a dart. "Have a go at it."

Roe took the dart, weighed it in his hand, pulled back his arm and threw the dart.

Babe smiled at Roes shot with the dart. "Nice shot." He patted Roe on the shoulder and took one of his own darts and took a shot.

Roe had made a shot close to the center. He was shocked and by the time Babe started handing him another dart he was still gaping at the dart board.

"So you've never played darts before?" Babe asked as he handed Roe another dart.

"Uh un... never. I've never been the one to play games. I've always helped my grandma around her place, fished or read books underneath a tree in my front yard... besides working to save money to buy my own place."

"Well your doing great." Babe smiled as Roe started talking about his life, which was the first time had heard him do so. "I played games when I wasnt working which seemed like all the time."
