Taking his plate with the suspiciously looking food, Ron walked across the room to find a free table. He was not really in the mood to listen to the complaints of the other Dog guys about the harsh training. He just wanted to eat his lunch in peace.
Obviously, this was not going to happen. As soon as he lifted the fork to his mouth, one of the Easy officers took a seat at his table. Ron gave him a dissatisfied look, but the other man just grinned, not intimidated by his glare at all.

"Speirs, right?" Lew looked at him and want to shake Ron's hand. He saw his guy already and knew that he was in the D-Company of 2nd Battallion.

"That's right," Ron replied, looking at the offered hand suspiciously. He was still not happy about this unwanted distraction and had no intention to get friendly with this guy right now. "Who is asking?" he said, ignoring the gesture.

"Nixon" He said calmly. He only wanted to sit there not to be the friend of this fucking guy. So he took his hand back to his tray and sat down, still looking at the other officer.

Ron nodded in acknowledgement and was eating in silence for a while, before he noticed that the other guy was still looking at him. "What? Aren't you hungry?" he asked coldly. "Look... Nixon. If you want to say something, do it. Just stop staring at me like that, okay?"

Lew gave him a short smile and hike his shoulder. Than he started eating. He didn't know him and he is not sure if he really want to know him. So he decided to start eating for a while. Than he started looking again. "Do you like to go out with some officers at the weekend?" Did I really ask this men? Why? Nix, you don't know him, he thought

Winters glanced warily at his friend and the officer named Spiers. He had seen him, and heard about his reputation. He continued down the line to receive the rest of his meal.

"Should it be an invitation?" Ron asked, openly surprised. He would thought he sent the message already that he was not asking for friendship. On the other hand, he had no plans for the weekend pass and this man didn't sound as annoying as some of his fellow Dog officers.

Dick set his tray down quietly, and sat himself down. He nodded to both men.

Ron looked at Winters, who sat down beside Nixon. He surely heard about him and only the best. Respected by his men and the best officer in Easy. He nodded to him in greeting, before turning back to Nixon. "Well,... why not." he answered the invitation, finally. "Where do we go, then?"

"Where ever our feet will take us" He smiled a bit. "There's a bar one mile away, mostly officers there and good for some drinks and may be a bit of poker.

"I sometimes tag along, though I don't drink." Winters said, with a quirk of a smile. "Someone's gotta look after him." He pointed his thumb at Lew.
